About ClaimValuator

Updated

ClaimValuator exists for the person staring at a medical bill and an insurance adjuster’s phone number, wondering what their claim is worth. Most settlement calculators online give one national number. Real claims depend on state law: who can recover when both sides share the blame, how long you have to sue, what insurance drivers must carry and whether damages are capped.

What we build

Free calculators for injury claims, insurance coverage, settlement money, workplace benefits and employment claims. Each state version applies that state’s rules, cites the statute or case behind each one and shows the math line by line, so you can see how an estimate was built and argue with any part of it.

What we do not do

We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. Our estimates are not predictions or offers. Calculators never ask for your name, email or phone number, and the numbers you enter stay in your browser.

How we keep it accurate

Every rule in our data has a source and a date it was last checked. State pages name their reviewing attorney once one is confirmed for that state. Read how we calculate, our editorial policy and the legal review board.

How we make money

When someone asks for a free case review, we may be paid by a participating law firm. That never changes a calculator result. See our advertising disclosure.
